This week, we have been practicing our plays for Thursday to perform them. My play was about Someone called Maddie (Me) makes people disappear and that people named, Crystal, Charlotte, Jeremy, Bob, and Ben went  to a haunted castle, where Maddie lives and find out how people just vanish when they come. On Thursday morning and after first break, we performed our plays, In the morning my play didn’t show, but one that was called “The evil potato” did, and it caught my eye. It had a Evil maid, a queen, a chef, and probably a servant or princess, And the evil potato. But my play was the best, It had all the people but it was very long. I got to make people disappear and then they end up in the castle dungeon. I made Bob and Jeremy disappear, but they disappeared at separate times, Bob disappeared during a power cut and Jeremy disappeared during the snack break. The teachers got AI to make our scripts. Our play was like the fifth to last because they randomly picked them. I was very nervous, I wish I could do it again some other day, but I don’t think I’ll be able to do it though.

I was with Violet, Bella, Jackson, Isaac, and David.

Our play was THE BEST.

On Tuesday, the internet was turned off. We were making baubles. My baubles were Christmas themed, like we’re learning about.

My favorite one was my one that said “Merry Christmas” in cursive writing.

I did make one that had a ballerina in a snow globe but I accidentally cut right through the middle.

I made four Baubles, well five, but four now.

At first, I was nervous, I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish it in time, but I did.

My first bauble was Red, Green, and grey curved stripes.

My second one was small with red drips with light and green dripped outlines.

My third one was a bigger one that said “Merry Christmas”

My fourth one was smaller that the first one and it had a Christmas tree and a Santa hat.

My fifth one that I cut through, was a ballerina in a snow globe.

I used Canva Video to create the video. I used the feature Elements to get the volcanoes. I think that the question I did kind of explained a lot. My question was Who or what is Ruaumoko? And the answer was Ruaumoko is the god of volcanoes, he is also the youngest to Papatuanuku and Ranginuku.

The Mysterious Key

There once were three girls walking along a winding road at twilight. They came across three doors, locked, and not a key in sight. But they saw a note.

I know u wish 2 pass but u cannot without the three KEYS,

One 4 each door,

Read carefully…

One door opens 2 death.

Two leads u 2 ur homes

Three lead u 2….

The rest had faded away before their eyes,

‘Let’s start with the pink one! Pink’s my favorite color!’ Said the first girl cheerfully.

‘No, They will expect us to try and find the key! We need to start with the worst color! Green!’

Said the second girl with disgust.

‘Excuse me? We need to start finding out what the riddle means!’ Said the third girl, her face filled with anguish.

‘Good point, Luna!’ Said the first girl.

‘Thanks, Hermione! Said Luna with delight.

‘Yeah, Hermione!’ Said the second girl, named Ginny.

‘We need to find the keys!’

‘Come on! I think I saw one and picked it up on the way here!’ Said Luna with a lot of excited tone in her voice.

Luna pulled out the red key from out of her pocket and showed them the key, It was very dusty, it had a lot of engraving on it, though it had a different language written upon it. It looked like centuries old writing. 

‘Oh! It looks ancient! I’ve read about them! In ancient runes! A fascinating subject if you ask me! It says’ Hermione pulled out an old dusty book. ‘This key leads where you want to go, Apparate if you don’t believe me Then I can’t quite make out the rest, I’ve never seen that sign before… It looks like the grim, The omen of death. I hope that doesn’t mean what the grim actually means!’

This week we have been making dioramas about Micheal and Atarangi from Children of the rush.

We got to choose a buddy/three to make the dioramas with,

We got a shoe box,

We also got to choose a scene from the book (It could be your favorite part),

Then, We got some polymer clay to make the characters,

We also got paint for it too,

We used glue to stick stuff down,

finally, we added the polymer clay creations to the inside to make it look like the people are actually there.

I made it when Atarangi gave the bread and chops in a bundle to Micheal, Lucy, and Brendon (Micheal’s  father)

Me and My buddy have only got to painting now 🙁
